Unarmed Security Officer training is the first step toward beginning your career in the security industry. In North Carolina, this training is essential to stay up to date with the rules and regulations required to be licensed with any security company.

Course Options:

• 16-Hour Course (New Recruits): Designed for individuals entering the security field, this in-depth training is delivered in person or via Zoom over two days (Monday & Tuesday). The schedule includes two 15-minute breaks and one 30-minute lunch break, simulating a standard workday.

• 4-Hour Refresher (Expired Licenses): For officers who previously held a license but have not completed training within the past year

Upon Completion:

• Recruits receive a signed Certificate of Completion in the Unarmed Security training portion per the state law & regulation 74C in the state of North Carolina.

• Officers must then submit their application for licensing with the State of North Carolina through their employing security company.

• If you’re employed with or will be employed with A&A Security Services Inc. / A&Associates Inc. - we will submit you licensing paperwork & CRC to the state for approval.

If assigned to A&A Security Group, A&Associates Inc., we will handle submission on your behalf, including:

1. Certificate of Completion 16-Hour Course

2. PPSB New Hire Paperwork
   -Affidavit & Release of Information Form for processing

3. Fingerprint Card - Federal Background Check

4. Criminal Record Check (CRC) - Criminal Record Check
